I love having flowers in every room of the house. I find it makes me happy and makes me smile each morning when I see them standing brightly and illuminating nature at its very best. Since having a few events in the house, we had some bouquets from florists Native Flowers and Lavender Blue decorating the tables and worktops.
After their personal best, I like to take the flowers and make my own little bunches for in my room. I have recently been given a coffee set that had a beautiful coffee pot in it, which I knew I wanted to use as a vase when I next had lovely flowers in the house..
In this vase is a mix of things. The majority is actually mint from the garden! We have a glut of mint and I love the freshness of its smell and the green texture of its leaves. The rest is some peonies from M&S, some daisies from the garden and beautiful pale pink flowers from Native Flowers (that I am struggling to remember the name of.)
I love arranging flowers in my spare time. Hobby number 101 coming along…

Lovely flower arrangements! I like the mix oc heights / colours / etc. Like a bunch of wildflowers, instead of a bouquet from the florist. :)
