
Our New Years Resolution this year was to make and eat smoothies each morning using nuts, dried fruit and fresh fruit.. Today’s smoothie consisted of:
A mixture of poppy seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, mixed nut variety and dried cranberries.
Raspberries (handful)
2 Tangerines
1 Banana
Natural Yoghurt
A splash of Apple Juice
(Serves about 3 people) Whizzed up in our blender! I like to eat them like a yoghurt. And flip through this months Country Living. Sunday at it’s best..x

What happens to the nuts and seeds when you put them through the blender?
I put them in first and blitz them. So they go into a powder. Then when I add all the other ingredients they mix up within. And when you drink it, it makes it textured! Hope this helps x
Thanks. :-) I’m not sure I could ‘blitz’ them in my blender. But I have a coffee grinder with it so that would do.
