It was such a pleasant surprise today to realise that there are some flowers (and pretty weeds) sprouted in our garden. It doesn’t seem that collectively there has been enough sun and the rainfall has been enough to re-stock a river.. but somehow little daisies popped their heads out and some wild flowers have grown too. How magical is that?! x
This week is going to be a busy one as I photograph new and existing stock for the New Shop. I am so excited and so far I have listed the birthday cards and father’s day cards! It’s the first time, in my online career, that I have voiced a deadline. I normally scrawl it in my diary and think “I’ll aim for that” but never really do. So I thought, to push myself, I will tell my followers the exact date and time that the shop will launch. No pressure. No biggie.
I also have lots of re-stock orders this week too.. so everything that’s new to the shop will also be available at 5 of my stockists. Everything is all happening at once this month and I absolutely love getting immersed in everything I have to do. Especially the part that my little Niece, Ruby, should be here any day now. x
Exciting news everyone! I am packing my bags at my little Etsy shop and moving to a brand new shop. I am delighted with my progress so far but there is still lots and lots to do before my launch day. There will be lots of new items and a new style of website. I love how minimal the new design is and shopping is extremely easy with my new checkout system! I hope to “see” you all there at my launch.. I will be releasing the new URL closer to the time. And if you would like to receive an email detailing the launch and coupon codes, leave your email in the comments below!! xx
Gingham this, gingham that. Definitely a little bit vintage and a little bit country! All new designs.. ready for the shop this weekend. How are you all? A big warm Welcome to all new subscribers, likers and followers. I hope you are enjoying Messyla!xx
A popular item at Messyla was always the crochet bookmark. They have evolved so much since I started 2 years ago, that seeing the originals makes me cringe with disgust! I used thick, bold coloured, felt and cut them into flower shapes using curved nail scissors.. Thankfully that is in the past and I am hopeful none of them exist anymore. However, I love the new style of the bookmarks. They are so dainty and using beautiful french yarn for the flowers. With delicate little pearls in the centre. Perfect for reading, cookery books, your family story book for the children or even your big pile of ugly paperwork on your desk! x
