The Card Drawer

Let’s face it. Sometimes in life we need to collect things and store them away for that day when they might be needed. And to not have the said collected thing, when needed, would be embarrassing and quite a nuisance. For most, this involves cards! Collecting/gathering/safe keeping cards for all occasions. My favourite is the blank card! I love to have a collection of blank cards in my drawer for when I need to send a special message to a friend, a belated birthday or just a note to say Hello.

This inspired me to create a random assortment of 5 blank cards. Different colours and styles to suit different occasions, all ready to be nestled into your drawer for safe keeping.x

A little trickery on my part.

It may not be Summer outdoors, or even Spring for that matter, but this morning’s smoothie was summer fresh and full of delicious berries. I’m longing to drink ice cold smoothies outdoors, wear tea dresses without thick black tights and spark up the BBQ for some lazy hazy hot summer days. Tricking my mind into thinking it’s sunny outdoors seems to be the only option at the moment. Even tricking my camera into thinking there is more natural light than there is.   Have you had some sunshine yet?

Pretty Pastel Style

Working with pastels this week has been so lovely and refreshing. It may not be Spring outside, but bringing bright decorations inside certainly makes it feel like a fresh new season has blossomed. I love when things are easy to photograph and the pale pastel colours are perfectly captured!

I think pastels are pretty versatile. They would sit perfectly in a baby’s nursery, in a kitchen to add some colour or draped around a curtain pole in a bedroom! All pastel items are available at the online shop.. let me know what you think of them.xx

Macaroni and Pretty Bowls.

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. My weekend was spent with my boyfriend and my family – eating lovely food and drinking coffee. (Perfect weekends consist of this combination for me). Today I have been working on a bundle of cards for a new stockist. It’s been an exciting day. I love when I get a new order in that I am really excited about. Perhaps a design I hadn’t really considered, a colour scheme or sentiment. It makes my week a little different and full of crafty wonder. Good night, all!x
