52 Weeks of Baking: Week Fourteen.

Peanut Butter Brownies. 

The other day, I thought to myself that I had never tried peanut butter and chocolate as a combo. (As you do.) I vaguely think I tried peanut M&Ms once upon a time, but I thought I needed to experiment and see if they were to my fancy!

Rachel Allen’s Bake is my go-to guide for anything sweet. She has a recipe for Peanut Butter Blondies, but I had no white chocolate so I substitued it for milk and it tasted fabulous!

So using your basic brownie recipe, add about 150g of crunchy peanut butter. The batter didn’t taste as good as I had expected. But the end result is mouth watering!

I love chocolate and peanut butter. It makes me happy that my 52 weeks challenge has actually enabled me to learn new things about myself..even if it is as little as pairing PB and Chocolate. :o) x
