An Island In The Blue Bay

There is something so fresh and lovely about nautical colours.. They are a firm favourite of mine and a colour pallet I have been eager to use in this season’s pieces. Perfect for summertime and even to remind you of those fantastic days at the salty seaside during the winter months.

For the boat/ship enthusiasts among us, I have added one red and one green crocheted circle for hanging the garland. To represent port and starboard!

It’s always a great thing when you buy something with absolutely no real intentions for its use and then find a use for it years later. The shells were a bit of an impulse buy once upon a time..
